That ‘hippie’ kinda love

I have noticed something unsettling lately. Love.
I know it sounds odd because Yahweh’s love is so very close to my heart. He IS after all LOVE! (1 John 4:8).

Yet, in the Body of Christ a lot of people are talking about a love that is not from Him and an ‘unity’ that is not from Him. It’s like a ‘hippie’ kinda love where everybody is so accepting, tolerant and religiously correct with each other, that place where ‘repentance’, ‘holiness’ and ‘righteousness’ become like swear words.  Beloved, this is what happens when you bring the New Age and counterfeit spirits into the Church.

One born again Christian lady recently told me that she is encouraging someone from another faith to do her prayers (to a false god) more regularly! When I questioned her about it, she said that she was only operating in love. It grieved me so deeply – are we advising people into hell in ‘love’?

Is it not so that God’s love will ALWAYS draw us closer to Him and make us ministers of reconciliation in reconciling people back to Him…sometimes even pulling them ‘out of the fire’ as the Scriptures teach? This counterfeit ‘love’ has cost much – it has cost the fear of God being lost for many. Father, have mercy on Your people, wake us up to true, Holy LOVE!

“But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh.” Jude 1:20-22
