Strong when I am weak
Just sharing a few thoughts that are dear to my heart with you today. Throughout my life people have often said to me that I am a very strong person but honestly, in fact, I am weak within my own self. The strength that they see in me, is not of myself but of my Father in Heaven. The Bible says that the LORD’s strength can be perfected in us – if we are weak.
In fact, most times when we do things in our own strength, we fall flat on our faces. It is in our weakest moments that the LORD is able to work through us the most, teach us the most and transform us the most – it’s an issue of complete dependence on Him and not on ourselves – our own abilities and strengths. We are complete only in the Messiah.
It is He who makes us strong and only He! I am weak but He makes me strong!
I can live a victorious life because when Christ’s power rests upon me, I am strong through Him.
“And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9
